Tour Diary
Lead man Jonathan Cummins, from the band Bionic, who toured with Nashville Pussy for a few days in Canada a month or so ago, gives us some insight on what it's like being on the road with our most favorite band:
October 30, 2002 ..."Nashville Pussy are great as usual and it's really great seeing them again. Jeremy, Tim, Paul and myself eat at the Colonial Inn where there is usually a lot of transvestites but none of them show up tonight. The waitress, complete with bouffant and over-sized glasses seemed like she was on a shitload of diet pills and was quite entertaining." [read more]
November 2, 2002 ... "After this, a freak blizzard ensues. Our new snow tires work perfectly but we can barely see the road ahead of us. We show up too late for me to do my radio interview and go to eat really bad Mexican food. It ends up that Nashville Pussy's equipment van, complete with trailer, does a 180 on the highway but everybody is all right. (hey baby does that sound familiar? :) [read more]
November 6, 2002 ... "The London audience may have started off like a dry hump or a bad handjob but ended up being great around the end. It was kind of like sleep sex. You may be considered a bit of a punk purist or a punk elitist. You are very critical of anything that strays from your ideal of punk. You're very into the 'oldschool punk', the original punk bands of the 70s and 80s. Some may consider you outdated, but others admire your thoroughness and distinct look.
